Why do people want to look at porn on their iPod, or play sex games on their mobile phone? The only possible explanation is to show it to others, take a look at my 'uber' gadget it even has porn on it ... But anyway, feminists sit down for a second, this one will shock you :-)
A company named Artificial Life, located in Hong Kong, released "V-girl" a virtual girlfriend, actually a virtual pet for mobile phones. She's called Maya and promises us to behave really intelligent, acting just like a real girlfriend, chatting, flirting and even blowing kisses when we feel lonely. I will stop my sarcasm right here, the idea is rather innovative, the artwork is nice and the concept is worked out ok I guess. But I can't help it feeling a bit sad thinking about 'grownup' men walking around with their expensive mobile phones, showing off their new toy, a virtual girlfriend. related articles:
