The movies "Roof Sex" and "Kaboom" are showing his capability to see things from a different perspective and to turn meanings and functions upside down.

His concepts are simple, his animation technique is nearly ancient, but his work has a vitality you don't often encounter. So, I guess it's not that amazing some large companies found their way to Pes for some unique animated commercials. He made commercials for Diesel, Bacardi and Nike to name a few of the big ones.
